Benefits of Zandu Rhumayog Gold Tablets :

• Rhumayog gold offers micropulverised safe form of gold in combination with Yograj guggul and Maharasnadi Quath; exerts strong analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic and anti-rheumatic action.
• Gold selectively accumulates in the synovial cells of the inflamed jonts and exerts excellent immuno-modulatory activity.
• Co-prescripition with NSAIDs ensures early relief, reduces the dosage frequency of NSAIDs and consequently their side effects.

Indications :

• Rapidly progressing Rheumatoid arthritis.

Rhumayog with gold is an orally effective format gold. Rhumayog with gold as an effective MARD corrects immunological abnormalities and alters the disease process favourably, preserves joint structure, prevents further damage and ensured greater mobility.

Gold in the form of Suvarnabhasma, a finely micropulverised colloidal from, selectively accumulates in the lysosomes of the synovial cells of inflammed joints. In addition, Gold inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and interferes with complement activation.

Contra Indications :

Gold therapy is contraindicated in

• Patients with renal or hepatic disorders.
• During pregnancy and lactation and after radiation therapy.

Concomitant use of immunosuppressants is contraindicated.

Composition (Each tablet contains) :

Rhumayog Gold Tablets

Dosage :

Loading therapy : 2 tablet twice daily for 15 days.
Maintenance therapy : 1 tablet twice daily at weely intervals.

It is suggested that after initial treatment with Rhumayog with Gold, long term treatment should be followed up withZandu Rhumayog tablets.
